Senior Account Executive – Law Enforcement Policy & Law Enforcement Training

The Work

Today, public safety professionals across the country have a very demanding job with ever-changing legislation, court decisions, best practices. These changes pose significant challenges to the departments’ ability to stay on top of policy and training content which is so critical to their day-to-day operations.

As a Law Enforcement Policy & Law Enforcement Training SAE, you will be able to help local public safety departments stay abreast of these changes and save them time and money. The Lexipol cloud-based policy and training solutions assist departments by providing them immediate access to constitutionally sound policies and quality training that improves operations and ultimate save lives.

This is done through working in these areas of focus:

  • Annual Revenue - Achieve / exceed quota targets
  • Achieve State/Territory Revenue to Plan
  • Develop effective and targeted territory growth plans to ensure revenue target delivery.
  • Work actively as both an individual contributor and team player. This work is independent and simultaneously highly collaborative in nature.

Daily/weekly activity consistent with expectations set forth by leadership

  • Prospect, qualify, provide continuous value proposition, and close new business with existing and new customers.
  • Present our LE Policies and LE Learning solutions virtually and in-person to public safety and public entity leadership
  • Consistently follow our communication cadence pattern with prospective agencies

Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. Keep pipeline current and moving up the curve.

  • Maintain CRM system daily by documenting thorough and accurate customer and pipeline information.
  • Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will have this experience:

  • 3 years of SaaS sales experience required at a minimum.
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep experience with the public safety acquisition/procurement process from a sales perspective.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful Sales experience selling SaaS.
  • Experience with policies and accreditation in law enforcement.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal government procurement process.
  • Prior first responder/public safety service is beneficial.
  • Demonstrates success with long-term sales cycles and large transactions
  • Consistent track record of meeting sales targets in a territory management role.
  • Excellent presentation and telephone sales abilities.
  • Proven ability to rapidly build rapport and gain the confidence of prospects and clients.
  • Public safety centric consultative sales approach.
  • Proven ability to self-manage daily sales tasks, activity, and quota attainment.
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM.
  • Documentation Mindset: willingly enter high levels of documentation to facilitate the sales process.

Compensation and Benefits

Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Base salary for this position is $80,000 with OTE at $220,000 uncapped.
