CNC Machine Operator - Tymetal Corp.

Would you like to work for an employee-owned company? Would you like generous paid time off and a 401k match? Are you interested in working on a wide variety of metal fabrication projects? Tymetal Corp. has an opening for a CNC Machine Operator on our first shift working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Our Machine Operator will run a Water Jet, Flex Drill, lathe, punch, press, laser, and a variety of other shop machinery. Responsibilities will include the set up and execution of files, preparation of materials, efficient machine operation and outstanding production accuracy.

Position requirements include:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CNC milling machines and tooling.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
  • Understanding of basic computer software programs.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
  • At least one year of experience in a metal fabrication or industrial setting.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals, such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc.
