Additionally, it requires managing both hardware and software components, writing documentation, evaluating new technologies, and applying information security practices.
In operating systems development, the Senior Programmer analyzes business needs, evaluates software environments, installs and validates compilers, and fine-tunes system performance while ensuring security practices are upheld.
Skills Required:
Candidates must have expertise in application software development, operating systems configuration, database management, and systems engineering. Proficiency in software design, optimization, and infrastructure requirements is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to establish cooperative relationships are also required.
Skills Preferred:
Experience with Drupal is preferred, including core and security updates, module management, UI development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript), SEO, and site performance optimization. Familiarity with Acquia Cloud is a plus.
Experience Required:
A minimum of seven years in electronic data processing, with at least four years in a leadership role.
Experience Preferred:
At least five years of Drupal support and maintenance experience, including updates, UI development, and performance optimization.
Education Required:
A bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering is required, with additional experience potentially substituting for education. Experience with Drupal and Acquia Cloud is essential.
