Position Overview:

The Advertising & Marketing Compliance Analyst is responsible for coordinating and performing an array of compliance efforts to ensure Luminate Home Loans and our licensed Loan Originators adhere to mortgage and banking compliance laws and regulations.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ongoing review of loan originator websites to ensure websites meet company requirements for licensing disclosures, content, address information
  • Manage social media monitoring tool which includes which includes review and mediation of all findings
  • Review marketing materials for compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, including but not limited to: ECOA, FHAct, FACTA, RESPA, Dodd-Frank, MAP Rule, UDAAP, TCPA, TILA, fair lending laws, etc.
  • Provide guidance to sales team and other internal teams while collaborating to problem solve and ensure compliance with company and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of mortgage advertising/marketing regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proactively monitor requests and projects to ensure turn times and quality of reviews are maintained
  • Support the development of advertising/marketing policies with internal teams and collaborate to problem solve in pursuing new business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain job aids
  • Use internal and external resources to gain a greater understanding of practices and processes
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations
  • Interpret existing and emerging regulations and make procedural recommendations

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to manage several assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively, both with others and independently
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to problem solve for a variety of compliance and business issues within pressure and time-sensitive periods
  • Ability to effectively communicate all levels of management

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years in mortgage compliance and marketing/advertising required
  • Familiarity with banking laws and regulations, particularly UDAAP, Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, TCPA, TILA and fair lending laws, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing
