Your Mission:

  • Comprehensive Coordination:Manage every detail of funeral arrangements, from the initial transfer of remains to final disposition and memorialization.
  • Heartfelt Services:Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies with professionalism and empathy, ensuring they reflect the familys wishes and traditions.
  • Community Engagement:Foster strong relationships within the community, religious groups, and other organizations to maintain our clients heritage and grow their market presence.
  • Secure Handling:Assume responsible custody of personal mementos, ensuring they are cared for and returned according to the familys desires.
  • Safe Environment:Promote and maintain a safe, healthy workplace for staff and visitors.
  • Service Supervision:Oversee all aspects of funeral or memorial services, including logistics, chapel and church services, cemetery coordination, and special functions.
  • Family Interaction:Meet with families to understand their needs, accurately prepare all related documents, and provide compassionate support.
  • Office Proficiency:Maintain a high level of proficiency in office skills and technology, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Communication:Answer phones, prepare reports, and actively participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:Completion of a diploma program at a college meeting State of Ohio standards.
  • Licenses:Valid Ohio Funeral Director license and drivers license.
  • Experience:Previous customer service or sales experience is an asset.
  • Skills:Strong computer skills and knowledge of funeral service-related software.
  • Personal Traits:Exceptional communication, compassion, integrity, problem-solving abilities, multi-tasking skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
