The Opportunity / Job Description
The Senior Director, IT - Teleradiology Cloud & Infrastructure Services ("Senior Director, IT") is responsible for managing the infrastructure and security of Onsite Women's Health. As a fast-growing company, OWH is looking for a technical and business-minded leader to drive the standardization, scaling, performance, and automation of infrastructure and systems. This position requires depth of knowledge in on-premises virtual environment design and configuration, cloud environment design and configuration, networking, hardware, and security policy creation and implementation.
He/she will manage a small team to design and execute changes to OWH's hybrid environment. This environment includes an on-premises dHCI with scale-out storage, networking among 100+ offices, AWS cloud infrastructure, and M365. This position will also manage vendors, subscriptions, and support. He/she will coordinate escalated support tickets within the department.
The Senior Director, IT will also create and implement security policies in compliance with HIPAA and NIST security guidelines. Backup plans, disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity all fall within this position's purview. Knowledge and experience with healthcare IT protocols (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) is required.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, automate, manage, and support virtual environments in a hybrid cloud Windows Server infrastructure to support a growing healthcare organization
- Manage virtualized dHCI compute, network, and storage using VMware and other systems
- Manage distributed and virtualized storage systems (SAN, scale-out NAS, cloud)
- Create and implement security policies in accordance with HIPAA & NIST
- Oversee systems administration functions for:
- Active Directory, File & Print Services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 Services, including Exchange, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power Apps and Automate
- Implement advanced security, backup, and high availability best practices
- Perform scripting, CI/CD automation
- Work with system vendors to resolve incidents and problems
- Coordinate projects for implementation of new hardware and software as required
- Create and review hardware specifications for procurement
- Stay current with and evaluate new technology and solutions
- Provide support for escalated helpdesk tickets
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Windows Server Administration
- 3+ years' experience in VMware
- 2+ years' experience in Cloud Systems Management
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365
- Experience and knowledge of IT operations practices including computer, networking, storage, virtualization, identity and access, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance
- Certifications in Microsoft and AWS environments highly desired
- Demonstrated analytical, organization, communications, and time-management skills
- Team oriented; collaborative self-starter willing to take on challenging tasks
- ITIL certification or experience with ITIL practices is preferred
- Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience preferred
- Fortigate firewall configuration desired
