Job Summary:

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to Pharmaceutical Associates Inc. (PAI) located in Greenville, SC, benchmarking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while working with plant operations to understand the drivers of financial performance and identify trends relevant to the business. Your responsibilities include support activities within General Accounting, Financial Analysis, and plant metrics that will help drive sustained success within the business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with General Manager and the Finance/Accounting team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
  • Month-end activities to include (but not limited to): Production variance analysis, purchase price variance reconciliation, absorption reporting, labor force reconciliation, journal entry creation, inventory analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain standard cost summary report for entire product portfolio
  • Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting of plant financials, and cash flow modeling
  • Fixed asset monitoring, analysis, and reporting of current and future capital projects in the pipeline
  • Maintaining audit trails and documentation in compliance with GAAP and 3rd party audit requirements
  • Communicate financial performance against target to respective business leads through trend analysis and other means
  • Work with the operations group to better understand financial impacts of OEE performance
  • Maintain a running production plan that outlines absorption with volume & mix impact against target

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Requires English language skill(s) and proficiency
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for PAI in the US

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration and minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Oracle, SAP, ERP or related financial systems. (SAP a plus)
  • Cost accounting experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
