We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, seminars, and corporate parties. The successful candidate will have a passion for event planning and a strong attention to detail.

THIS WILL BE AN OFFICE JOB AND CANDIDATES MUST WORK IN THE OFFICE WITHIN THE NEXT 3 WEEKS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and organizing events, including selecting venues, coordinating logistics, and managing event timelines
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and event staff to ensure smooth execution of events
  • Assist in creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Assist in marketing and promoting events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Help design and create event materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage
  • Assist in managing attendee registrations, including processing registrations, answering inquiries, and providing customer support
  • Assist in coordinating event services, such as audiovisual equipment, transportation, and catering
  • Assist in coordinating event staff, including managing schedules, providing clear instructions, and ensuring a high level of professionalism
  • Assist in evaluating event success by gathering feedback, analyzing data, and preparing post-event reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
