Position Summary:

Pine Pharmaceutical’s Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training programs including but not limited to Train the Trainer Program, On boarding training and Aseptic training. In addition, will develop and oversee annual cGMP training, Annual drug diversion and Narcan training and Mindset of a Verifier training. Will also be responsible for the Quarterly Culture of Quality training sessions for all Production and QCU staff and provide expertise in training development design.        

Job duties include the performance and oversight of training associates to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. Requires multi-departmental communication to perform all necessary activities to provide the highest quality training standards for all staff.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain and oversee the Train the Trainer program, which will include working with all department heads to compile lists of training needs catered to their job duties and providing recommendations on programs and activities. Provide guidance to managers and supervisors in developing these training skills.
  • Ensure all training records including MasterControl and personnel paper record portfolios are up to date.
  • Perform the tasks of Training Administrator in MasterControl under Training Module including termination of training, training checkpoints and updating job codes.
  • Lead the curriculum as outlined on Orientation and Training Checklist.
  • Ensure the tracking and training of all aseptic operations, including but not limited to gown assessments, update of aseptic job codes and applicable training checklists is complete.
  • Support the coordination of annual exams in conjunction with QA System Specialist I and train the trainers.
  • Update policies, master production records and SOPs as needed to ensure compliance with current activities and provide department approval as needed.
  • Attend meetings including any and all new projects involving the Training Department.
  • Ensure action item coaching/re-training pertaining to aseptic operations, in conjunction with compliance, QC micro, and Production is completed.
  • Other activities/tasks as dictated by departmental and organizational needs.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in adult learning, human resources management, organizational development, business, psychology, or related field required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in training may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience delivering both classroom and on-the-job training.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a cGMP or related manufacturing industry.
  • Training in cGMP and/or aseptic processes preferred.
  • Certified Professional in training management is a plus
  • Knowledge of MasterControl is a plus
  • Previous Supervisor skills a plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience developing technical training content.
  • Experience writing or revising technical training documents.
  • Experience with adult education principles and practices.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on site needs.
  • Outstanding knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies.
  • Knowledge in computer systems; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MasterControl, SharePoint, Outlook, BambooHR
  • Confident in public speaking, conversing with individuals, small and large groups.
  • Leadership traits in group environment.
