Featuring a play space, casual eating and curated dog merchandise, our goal is to engage, delight, and support the dog-loving communities we serve.

Our need:

We are looking for a Day Camp Supervisor who will work alongside the Camp Manager to hire, train, and manage doggie day camp staff.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leadership - In-store

  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed at all times
  • Maintain positive teammate morale
  • Supervise camp counselors and help with daily camp procedures
  • Work closely with Day Camp Manager, General Manager, and Camp Counselors to create a team-oriented workplace
  • Key holder responsibility

Hiring, scheduling, and training

  • Hire and train all new employees
  • Ensure all training manuals are adhered to
  • Train hourly staff train new staff (“train the trainer”)
  • Set schedules for all employees
  • Review schedule and payroll

Support

  • Monitor day camp dogs in a daycare setting
  • Check-in/check-out dogs into camp
  • Write report cards for each camp dog
  • Work as a team to ensure dogs’ safety in a group environment
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest questions

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has managed and/or worked in a dog daycare before
  • Is a clear communicator and able to easily convey information both in written form and verbally
  • Is organized, can set and execute on standard operating processes, and has a keen eye for detail
  • Is eager to learn new skills and has the ability to pick things up and execute new things quickly, including but not limited to: new software, changes in processes and special projects
  • Is able to handle multiple requests with grace and poise
  • Is able to proactively prioritize tasks
  • Able to form and manage high level relationships
  • Has experience executing excellent customer service
  • Has hospitality experience
  • Has experience training and leading a team
  • Is willing to work Monday-Friday

Pay & Benefits:

  • $18-20/hr
  • We offer benefits after 90 days of employment: 50% of Carefirst health insurance premiums, 401k match up to 4%, PTO, etc.
