Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Camp Counselor to join our team at Bark Social - Alexandria. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our canine guests. This includes remaining active and alert, breaking up potential conflicts between dogs, and ensuring all dogs are collared and unleashed.
Responsibilities- Safety:
- Remain active and alert at all times, moving with the dogs when they are in play.
- Break up potential conflicts between dogs, using your training to intervene if necessary.
- Ensure all dogs are collared and unleashed.
- Customer Service:
- Welcome guests and connect with them, building trust and confidence in our brand.
- Learn about each dog's behavior, personality, and history to provide a personalized experience.
- Cleanliness:
- Ensure all dog water bowls are full, clean, and spread throughout the park.
- Sweep mulch and hair from the patio, including the area underneath auto-fill water bowls.
- Spot clean and dilute urine around the park.
- Bus and wipe down park tables, rearranging furniture as needed.
- Pick up poop in the playroom and yard.
- Mop up any accidents inside the playroom.
- Passion for dogs and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build trust with our guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Physical stamina to keep up with energetic dogs.
