What the Data Analyst role looks like:
- Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on findings, including visualizations and actionable recommendations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze cost drivers to optimize expenditures and improve profitability.
- Develop, track, and report on KPIs to measure performance across various departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation checks.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics and insights effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and techniques.
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a fleet maintenance or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with fleet management software and systems.
- Knowledge of the automotive or logistics industry.
- Advanced statistical analysis skills and experience with machine learning techniques.
Environment:
- Standard office setting
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
- Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
