Job Description


As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key member of the Operations department,

reporting to the Senior Director. The SC Manager will influence business processes and adopt

strategies to meet inventory targets while optimizing cash flow. You will lead efforts to

prioritize, manage, and communicate Supply Chain (SC) activities internally and with Contract

Manufacturers. Effectively represent Cytovale in key vendor and Contract Manufacturer

relationships. Optimize logistics including finished goods distribution. Support Technical

Services to ensure spare parts availability. Provide influence to develop and maintain

compliance with SC policy and procedures.



Primary Responsibilities


  • Define the product Supply Plan and budget to satisfy Engineering, Clinical, & Commercial demand.
  • Coordinate with key Contract Manufacturing partners to execute the Supply Plan
  • Provide key SIOP data, and content, and recommendations.
  • Ensure Purchase of key assemblies, finished goods, and safety stock; Establish scheduling priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate product cost; Identify and realize cost reduction opportunities.
  • Proactively coordinate with CMs to relieve capacity constraints.
  • Define and maintain safety stock levels; Initiate Purchase Orders / Manufacturing for strategic Component, Assembly, and Finished Good Inventory.
  • NPI: Coordinate effective implementation of BOM change orders including inventory disposition, WIP implications, costing, and safety stock.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with demand variances, non-conformances, lead- times, part obsolescence, and shelf-life expiration.
  • Manage and control Inventory transactions including internal allocation; Coordinate periodic cycle-count and accurate cost accounting.
  • Partner with Quality for product holds associated with non-conformances, rework, and pending product release testing.
  • Influence how to leverage the ERP system across the organization.
  • Comply with, and enforce, supply agreement terms.
  • Monitor key operational metrics; Support periodic Business Reviews with key suppliers.



Minimum Qualifications


  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering or other related field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting Supply Chain or Operations in Planning/Procurement.
  • Experience in team building; hiring staff and developing talent.
  • Demonstrated experience with Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience supporting Product Development and/or Operations within medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP.
  • 6 Sigma, LEAN MFG, or similar training.
  • Demonstrated experience with Logistics service providers.
