Automotive Finance Internship

We are looking for an F&I (Finance and Insurance) Intern to learn under our talented team The right candidate will have an interest in developing their knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures. Long term, we'd love to see this intern develop a range of knowledge and skills, as they explore the wide variety of roles available with the dealership. This is an entry role for students enrolled in a College or University program in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Operations, Automotive Technology, etc. who are interested in a career in the automotive industry.
Compensation range is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Internships can be full or part time, and we can be flexible to work around your school schedule. Full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:

Responsibilities - will primarily shadow and assist in an entry-level capacity in the following areas:
Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases. Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience
Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability
Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines
Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals
Accurately audit team deals Post-Sale and deeply analyze for improvements
Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts
Qualifications
Eagerness to improve
Working towards a College degree
General knowledge of / interest in dealership finance and insurance procedures
Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills
Some experience in negotiation and presentation skills
Valid driver’s license
