As a Venture Capital Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Develop and implement risk management frameworks to evaluate the financial, operational, and strategic risks of potential investments.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Continuously monitor the risk profile of the investment portfolio, providing insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk evaluation.
  • Risk Reporting: Prepare and present detailed risk reports and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all investments comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with investment teams to develop strategies for risk reduction and management across the portfolio.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the firm's investments and ensure long-term value creation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a related role within venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of venture capital processes, investment valuation, and risk management techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
