The unique combination of attributes offered by Mainspring’s linear generator enables applications on both the commercial and utility sides of the meter for the $816B global electricity equipment market. We serve a wide range of Fortune 500 customers across markets and industries as well as top-tier utilities and other gridside providers.

We strive for excellence and behave as leaders with the humility to acknowledge our challenges, both collectively and as individual contributors.
  • Proactive Collaboration. The integration and cross-disciplinary nature of Mainspring’s business requires intentionally seeking out others who bring different skills, perspectives, and priorities. Our culture of inclusion and respect extends beyond our team to interactions with our partners and customers.

  • Integrate different equipment in the factory to L3 & L4 of the ISA 95 pyramid such as manufacturing execution systems, local and cloud databases
  • Deploy and maintain software & firmware on manufacturing servers, as well as manage databases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering fields such as controls, mechatronics, computer science or systems engineering
  • At least 2 years or more experience in designing, developing and supporting object-oriented based industrial software applications
  • Experience with common software development tools such as TestRail/ Xray, GitLab/ Jira, or similar
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, C, C++, Unix-Shell, etc)
  • Understanding of virtualization and dockerization technologies
  • Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems, sensors and controllers is a plus
  • Manufacturing automation experience is a plus

The Bay Area salary for this role is $110k-$118k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA. The salary will be adjusted based on the experience of the employee.
