We are hiring a Lead Controls Building Automation Technician to join our team.


This position will be responsible for new installation, retrofit and ongoing service for building automation systems for our commercial customers. There will be training opportunities in additional building automation systems.

Job Title: Lead Controls Building Automation Technician
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, overtime as needed
Pay Scale: $50K-$65K- Depending upon Experience + Project Incentive Bonus

What you will be doing:
Provide installation, of new and retrofit building automation control systems
Provide service and troubleshooting of existing systems
Additional education expected and provided through in house training and factory training programs.
Maximize lead opportunities and adhere to a company goal of 100% work satisfaction
Observe company safety measures and present a professional attitude and appearance



Qualifications: 

Acceptable results for both background check and drug screen. 
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. 
Control Automation experience of 3 + years.  
Understanding of HVAC control theory and control concepts. 
Experience troubleshooting and installing DDC controls. 
Be familiar with the following communication protocols: LonWorks, BacNet, and Modbus. 
Capable of troubleshooting issues with communication trunks, device wiring, and device installation. 
Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques. 

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. 
Excellent customer service skills.
