Compass Dental Services, a locally owned and operated group practice, is currently seeking a highly motivated Office Manager to join our Waldo Dental Care family. As the office leader, we are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and all the facets associated with running a successful Dental Practice. Candidates must possess the ability to create a collaborative environment with a developed and well-rounded staff focused on providing the absolute best patient care while effectively supporting clinicians.

Responsibilities include; but not limited to-
• All aspects of day-to-day office operations and patient experience
• Model outstanding patient service, written, verbal, and other communication skills.
• Focus on increasing revenue and profit; controlling costs to meet or exceed monthly budgets
• Coach and mentor all staff members to optimal patient service levels, identifying strengths and areas of opportunity always to deliver an unequaled patient experience
• Collaborate with front office staff, setting expectations and monitoring patient flow by effectively reviewing appointments and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• On-board all team members to seamlessly integrate into the dynamic practice environment while continuing to meet patient and business needs
• Train office team members to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner, auditing work to confirm quality and convenient, providing additional training as needed.
• Partner with Operations Manager for coaching and guidance regarding personnel management, including performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and performance warnings.
• Maximize patient flow and productivity through a well-equipped team aiming to exceed patient expectations, leaving a positive, lasting impact.
• Inventory management and supply orders complying with a monthly budget and company policies
• Partner with Dentists and Associates to promote clinical and administrative leadership
• Performs other duties as assigned


About you:
• Minimum of 5 years of Dental management experience.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to attract and retain a talented team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing
• Highly organized and possess the ability to multitask and problem solve in a collaborative team environment.
• Hands-on experience with computerized billing systems and Dental software
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Standards
• Excellent work ethic and passion for patient care

About us:
Compass Dental Services is a locally owned and operated group practice with offices in Kansas City, Raytown, Independence, and Springfield, MO.
Office Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 am – 6 pm.
• Tuesday, Thursday 8 am – 7:30 pm.
• Saturday, 8 am – 1 pm.
• Must be available to work some Saturdays and some evening shifts
