Opportunity 

We are all about GROWTH. LIFE SURGE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speaker Development Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching, a love of the company culture, and a proven track record of successfully training speakers to increase audience engagement through impactful messaging, strategic programming, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. As a Speaker Development Coach, you will be responsible for auditing events, providing constructive feedback to speakers, and implementing tailored training programs to enhance their effectiveness on stage. 

Responsibilities 

• Attend live events featuring speakers from our organization to evaluate performances based on predefined criteria such as clarity, engagement, and adherence to compliance standards. 

• Compile detailed feedback reports highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. 

• Develop and deliver customized training programs designed to enhance speaker skills  

• Offer guidance on structuring presentations, crafting compelling narratives, and utilizing persuasive techniques to drive conversion. 

• Collaborate with speakers to refine messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences and align with organizational objectives, increasing conversion rates. 

• Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends and regulations, market guidelines, and ethical standards impacting public speaking and messaging effectiveness. 

• Assist speakers in crafting impactful stories, anecdotes, and call-to-action statements. 

• Work closely with event producers to ensure speakers are appropriately matched with event mission and audience demographics. 

• Provide input on agenda development, session sequencing, and overall program flow to maximize audience interest and participation. 

• Review speaker content and materials to ensure compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. 

• Educate speakers on compliance protocols, data privacy concerns, and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational reputation and minimize legal liabilities. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred 

• Proven experience in public speaking, presentation coaching, or corporate training roles. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate individuals at all levels. 

• Strong understanding of marketing principles and compliance standards, sales psychology, and persuasive communication techniques. 

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to support event schedules. 

Qualifications 

• Proven track record of success in public speaking, presentation coaching, or corporate training roles. 

• Previous experience developing speakers for 3-day seminar events, or developing speakers for 1-hour content previews. 

• Certified Professional Speaker (CPS), Certified World Class Speaking Coach (CWCS), or other speaking/ training certifications.
