Classification: Regular Full-time (35 hours)


SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful planning and management of program details that make significant strides in advancing the mission of Boston Senior Home Care. In this role, the Program Coordinator assists in planning, coordinating, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring program progress; maintains active liaison with leadership, staff and external stakeholders; and coordinates program development activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties __1____ through ___14____ are designated as ADA essential functions and must be performed in this job. All other job duties are secondary functions.

  1. Assists in the Coordination of program planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.
  2. Monitors and reports program resources, scheduling.
  3. Establishes good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups and other agencies.
  4. Conducts program related presentations to community organizations when needed.
  1. Facilitates meetings through activities including but not limited to scheduling, preparing meeting agendas and drafting of meeting minutes.
  2. Attends program meetings and prepares reports and other associated documentation.
  1. Establishes program plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress.
  2. Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
  3. Acts as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing education, and preparing reports when needed.
  4. Orders materials and items for program; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials.
  5. Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by program; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
  6. Serves as liaison for assigned programs; coordinates activities and exchanges information.
  7. Manages technology portal and runs reports as needed.
  8. Performs other duties as required.

COMPETENCIES

  • Interpersonal flexibility, initiative, teamwork, a customer service attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Must have demonstrated computer experience, and be able to perform basic data entry and effectively utilize MS Office Suite.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, filing cabinets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5:00 PM.

TRAVEL

This position has no travel involved.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS or BA degree required in business management or related field.
  • Six months or more years of experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

None required for this position.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Must clear CORI background check
  • Must be able to work in the United States
