Our goal is to be the best and no less No one person can do it alone but as a team we can and we will. All techs are I-CAR platinum level and our shop is I-Car Gold Class. Pay 36k to 120k per year. Competitive pay. Hourly, Salary or Flat rate depending on what fits you and depending on your experience.
Benefits/Perks: Air conditioned shop. Health insurance, AFLAC, PTO, Retirement Plan, six paid holidays, with uniforms provided.
We are open Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 leaving your weekends to spend time with family and friends with an early release on some Friday's upon work completion.
Detailed Duties:
- Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
- Keeps work areas clean.
- Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
- Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right to know etc.
- Replace damaged body parts, including bumpers, fenders, hoods and trim.
- Realign car frames and repair structural damage.
- Fit, attach, and weld replacement parts into place.
- Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted and coated.
- Mix paint according to specifications.
- Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags or unpainted areas.
- Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Other tasks as assigned.
