Managing Partner/Executive Chef

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Partner/Executive Chef to lead our team and oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a track record of success in both the kitchen and the front of the house. The owner is not on-site, so the ability to work independently and take initiative is essential. This role offers the unique opportunity to become a partner in the restaurant, with additional income potential through profit sharing. Responsibilities of the Managing Partner/Executive Chef:

  • Menu Development & Menu Execution: Maintain and update the menu (as needed), ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every dish.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction, handling any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability.Full Profit and Loss responsibility.

Managing Partner/Executive Chef Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef and General Manager/Managing Partner in a high-volume, casual dining setting.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
