Job Description: As the General Sales Manager at North Bay Nissan, you will play a critical role in leading our sales team to success. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our sales operations, including new and used car inventory management, CRM utilization, sales training, and wholesale processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of automotive sales manager experience and a proven track record of generating gross profit and maximizing net profit. This position offers a base draw and a very aggressive commission structure based on various key performance indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Manage new and used car inventory to ensure optimal turnover and profitability.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer interactions and sales opportunities.
- Oversee the wholesale process, including appraisals, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to reduce chargebacks and improve overall profitability.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive sales manager experience
- Proven track record of generating gross profit and maximizing net profit.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
