Job DescriptionJob Description

Dillon Beach Resort is a 55-acre site in West Marin County. The property is currently home to a private beach and accompanying beach parking lot and restrooms, 28 seaside Tiny Cottages & Cabins, a general store, restaurant, and surf shop.

We are looking for an experienced, versatile, hardworking candidate to join our team. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
  • Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
  • Weigh and measure ingredients
  • Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
  • Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces
  • Label stock and inventory all ingredients
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience working as a pastry chef or similar role
  • Is dedicated to working with a team towards one goal
  • Maintains cleanliness and attention to detail in all aspects of the kitchen area
  • Is highly adaptable to various situations and stress levels

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $22.00 - $25.00/hour.

About DILLON BEACH RESORT: Dillon Beach Resort sits on 55 coastal acres on the Marin-Sonoma County Line, between the mouth of Tomales and the entrance to Bodega Bay.
