This pivotal role involves curating customer needs, prioritizing product features, and sculpting the product vision. You'll collaborate closely with company leaders to guide the evolution of a new product, leading the product engineering team and interfacing seamlessly with marketing, technical account managers, and engineers. 
 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the C-Suite to establish product vision and maintain product roadmap. 

  • Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by leading necessary meetings and processes. 

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create detailed design specifications. 

  • Groom product backlog and determine priority of enhancements and new features based on expected business impact and reach. 

  • Provide clear direction for engineers through well-defined user stories. 

  • Approve releases, create release announcements, and maintain versioning. 

  • Perform and maintain competitive benchmarking. 

  • Gather and understand user feedback, identify underlying reasons and pain points, and incorporate insights into product development. 

  • Drive product launches, working with stakeholders to support customer and user adoption. 

  • Provide product demonstrations to stakeholders. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience Aviation experience or pilot experience

  • Transforming customer needs into product requirements. 

  • Providing unwavering support during customer meetings and engaging product demonstrations. 

  • Masterful communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Proven expertise in product roadmap development. 

  • Proficiency in defining and executing product lifecycle processes. 

  • Demonstrated success in managing agile software development. 

  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary software development methods and tools. 

  • A track record of effectively leading and coordinating cross-functional teams. 

  • Strong communication skills for engaging audiences of varying sizes.
