Small Cheval Rosemont is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Service Team Member to join our team

Service Team Members are responsible for creating the Guest experience

Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, outgoing, enjoys interacting with guests and works well with others. They also believe in quality, consistency and working in a clean, organized, and inclusive environment where respect and dignity is prioritized.

Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years' experience working in a high volume restaurant environment

  • Must have open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be positive, collaborative and committed to healthy communication and quality work.

  • Maintains positive attitude in a fast pace and energetic work environment

  • Will need a valid Food Handler & Basset certification for this role.

  • Bartending or Serving experience is a plus

  • Barista, pastry cook or line cook experience, or working with soft serve ice cream is a plus

Job Description:

Service:

  • Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs

  • Provide above and beyond service to our Guests 

  • Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu

  • Use tact and good judgment when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy

  • Owning the Guest experience from placing the order, order delivery and follow up throughout the meal. 

  • Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS system, Small Cheval Guest APP and Small Cheval Gift Cards

  • Preparing cocktails & draft beers for Guests

Ice Cream:

  • Create milkshakes, ice cream cones, sundaes, concretes, and floats throughout shift with proper technique 

General Store Maintenance:

  • Assisting in prep & general store organization (cutting garnishes, preparing sauces, restocking dry goods)

  • Assisting in store cleanliness  (washing & sanitizing dishes, countertops, tables, removing and replacing garbage's)
