Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and policies to mitigate risks across the organization.
- Lead the risk management team in identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks, including financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and report on risk exposures, providing regular updates to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to risk management.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, legal, operations) to integrate risk management into overall business strategy.
- Lead the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, tools, and systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify emerging risks and ensure the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
- Provide training and support to employees on risk management policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in risk management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate complex risks.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
