The Director of Client Relationships plays a pivotal role in driving the business strategy and growth initiatives in the architectural healthcare market. The primary focus of this role is identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas market, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the firm. Serving as a “face” of the firm, the Director of Client Relationships embodies the firm’s mission and culture and effectively communicates its unique value propositions to target clients. 

Essential Functions

  • Work with firm leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with E4H’s goals and objectives within the Texas healthcare market.
  • Build relationships with key target clients and industry partners that ultimately lead to new business opportunities.
  • Gather insight into key client challenges, needs and opportunities to inform strategies to secure new projects.
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships that will enhance the brand's reputation and access to target clients.
  • Identify emerging market trends, potential clients, and strategic partnerships to expand E4H’s market position.
  • Generate leads through networking, market research, and proactive outreach to decision-makers.
  • Attend industry conferences and events.
  • Tell the E4H story by presenting and articulating the firm's expertise, capabilities, and solutions to potential clients.
  • Understand client needs, provide insights, and collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Office Directors to develop tailored solutions for pursuits.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a professional in business development within the A/E/C industry
  • Prior marketing experience in the A/E/C industry with a focus on Texas healthcare market is required
  • Strong network and relationships within the Texas healthcare sector
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong writing, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and a track record of achieving and surpassing business development targets
  • Familiarity with relevant software and CRM tools
  • Exercise high degree of integrity and a commitment to the work and the company
