You will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner. We are actively interviewing, and our team is waiting for the right candidate

Job duties:

  • Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
  • Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients for imaging as needed
  • Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures by selecting proper and accurate technical factors and techniques
  • Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
  • Daily Schedule Review
  • Perform all exams ordered by physicians
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
  • Complete Technologist must deliver images to Interpreting Physician; send all Images to PACS.
  • Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies
  • X-Ray tech must be able to perform all kinds of radiology exams.
  • Technologist must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR preferred Experience with PACS systems.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam

Requirement:

  • Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Minimum Experience required: 1 year
  • 1-year/associate degree in radiologic technology
  • Valid ARRT or BMO certification
  • Sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment
  • Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 lbs.

License required:

For General Radiographer, ARRT, or BMO license is required
