We are seeking an entrepreneurial and ambitious eCommerce Associate to level-up our online sales potential. A key member of our growing DTC team, you will be responsible for managing eCommerce performance and operations, including: website content and improvements, seasonal events, product catalogs and ultimately delivering an optimized shopping experience within the Shopify+ environment. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising and Tech to ensure alignment in expectations and objectives. The successful candidate will also be data literate, understand KPI targets, and able to help manage performance and opportunities for improvement.
You are full of ideas, organized, and love digital project management. An avid learner, the eCommerce Associate will stay on top of developments in this rapidly evolving industry and identify the opportunities that are right for tasc. They understand the need for continually researching the competitive landscape in order to stay ahead of the curve. Simply put, they LOVE eCommerce and are excited about the tremendous influence they’ll have on building out a growing, yet established brand.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute innovative and ambitious e-commerce strategies to drive revenue through our Shopify Plus DTC platform.
- Supervise the design, usability and tech infrastructure of the website by project managing the e-commerce and development team and performing user acceptance testing
- Participate in SEO strategies including keyword targeting, focused blog content creation, and product schema markup
- Participate in site applications, partner agencies, software trends and best practices to increase KPIs while identifying cost saving opportunities
- Drives completion of website build and enhancement projects of third party vendors and evaluates quality/efficiency of efforts
- Participate in team and agency meetings and actively contribute to strategic opportunities
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences as required
- Create special scenario plans for seasonal surge periods like Black Friday / Cyber Monday promotional period, pressure testing the site to ensure flawless performance
- Coordinate necessary web development ticketing and sprint planning
- Leads product configuration, collection development, and site discoverability efforts, partnering with Merchandising and Fulfillment teams to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Leads website content; this includes planning, briefing, and uploading of all copy and imagery as it pertains to marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Provides ongoing competitive intelligence and eCommerce trend information; stays up to date on conversations in the eCommerce and DTC community
- Exhibits adaptability in an ever-evolving environment and willingness to stretch during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years hands-on Shopify eCommerce platform experience
- Hands on experience working with HTML/CSS
- High level of experience in managing project deadlines within established cost and time frames
- Experience in website development management
- Experience on Shopify apparel/footwear/accessory sites with high number of variants (combined sizes and colors) and strong familiarity with sites’ interconnection with Netsuite is a PLUS
- Demonstrated experience applying statistical principles to online experimentation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced or high-urgency environment
- Ability to analyze and report on sales and product performance for eCommerce
- Strong analytical capabilities with working knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and other analytics platforms
- Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
