About the Position
Body Technicians are the backbone of our business and a key contributor toward company success. This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 7:45 am - 5:00 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. We offer top-level compensation, as well as medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO, continuing education opportunities, paid holidays, paid life insurance, paid volunteering program, ongoing training and certification opportunities, and a 401(k) with a company match. The Automotive Body Technician will report to the Collision Center Manager and pay will commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Restores damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts
- Properly install new parts
- Weld as needed
- Follow all workplace safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of automotive collision repair experience
- ICAR or ASE certification in auto body repair preferred
- Have own tools
- Ability to read and follow instructions on repair orders
- Valid driver's license and clean driving report
