Collaborate on Repairs: Work seamlessly with estimators and collision repair advisors to assess and repair vehicle damage.

Procure Parts: Coordinate with the parts team to secure necessary components swiftly.

Perform Precision Repairs: Perform all repairs in strict adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

Document, Document, Document: Log every material used and repair completed with meticulous detail.

Requirements:

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training or certification in collision repair preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in collision repair and painting.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in repairing and replacing damaged vehicle body parts, including frames, panels, and bumpers.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as MIG welders and paint spray guns.

Certifications:

  • I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, including welding, sanding, masking, and painting.
  • Familiarity with manufacturer-specific repair procedures and safety guidelines.

Physical Ability:

  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools and equipment effectively.

Attention to Detail:

  • High precision and attention to detail in all repair and painting tasks.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and guest satisfaction.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with collision repair advisors and guests.
  • Proficient in documenting repair work and explaining technical issues to non-technical individuals.

Teamwork:
