Skills and Qualifications:
Language Proficiency:
Ability to comprehend and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Proficient in writing reports and communicating effectively in various settings.
Mathematical Competence:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Capable of addressing issues that involve multiple concrete variables in standardized scenarios.
Requirements include being at least 18 years old, full-time availability, and a strong desire to advance to a full-body technician role.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one year of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle vehicle interiors and exteriors to access damaged areas.
- Utilize tools to remove dents and repair surfaces.
- Replace damaged components and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Prepare and paint surfaces post-repair.
- Conduct mechanical repairs as needed.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, sit, and use hands for various tasks. The role may involve lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 pounds.
