The Content Specialist II will focus on writing, editing, and designing/formatting content for digital marketing and communication materials, while also supporting various marketing functions, trade shows, and industry events. This role is vital in creating communications that enhance brand awareness. The Content Specialist II will manage key internal and external communications across various channels and audiences, including industry partners, clients, and prospects.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leverage subject matter expertise to develop and coordinate consistent marketing content that attracts, engages, and converts target personas across key industries.
  • Write, create, and influence TrueNorth’s content calendar, producing various industry-specific content, including blogs, press releases, social media posts, and more.
  • Develop forms and templates to align sales and corporate content strategies with industry best practices, supporting teams with high-quality, relevant materials for events and webinars.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts, technology teams, and leaders to deliver fresh content ideas that position TrueNorth as an industry thought leader.
  • Adapt to new technology and tools to create and optimize content, using data insights and KPIs to continually enhance content strategy and conversion.
  • Deepen your understanding of TrueNorth's value to B2B and B2C clients, ensuring consistent messaging that reflects our industry leadership and positive image across campaigns.
  • Execute creative concepts and marketing objectives within approved timelines and budgets, updating websites and media platforms with current, industry-relevant content.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, division news, and company developments, providing timely updates to keep teams engaged and informed.
  • Increase industry knowledge through continuing education, involvement in associations, and participation in professional development opportunities.
  • Provide content support for industry events, hosted events, and webinars, ensuring alignment with industry standards and messaging.
  • Assist with gathering data on content performance and ROI, using insights to continually optimize strategies and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Credentials:

  • A four-year degree in Journalism, Communications, Business/Marketing, Advertising or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of four years of media, content development and campaign creation experience required
  • Experience with CMS administration preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign Creative Suite, Illustrator & InDesign is preferred but not required
  • Proficient experience in AP-style writing preferred
