Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relations, and achieving sales targets. This is a sales role that is fast-paced and detail-oriented. A positive attitude is a must

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new business by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing, inactive, and potential clients.
  • Communicate with customers regarding new products, price quotes, out of stock or low inventory levels, sample orders, sales contracts, and all other aspects of sales.
  • Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the client’s business and identifying opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities by targeting potential clients in various industries that require glass packaging solutions. Develop an execute effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand our market reach.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively building and managing the sales pipeline, closing deals, and following up on leads.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our glass packaging products and their applications. Communicate product features and benefits to customers effectively.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the management team to help refine our sales strategies, assist in product development, identify industry trends, and ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
  • Attend annual industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific regions or demographics.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • A high standard and understanding of customer service best practices.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize follow-up, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. A sense of urgency and strong time management skills are required.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative demeanor in team settings and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed – less than 10% of the time.
