A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As a Software Engineer, you are the lifeblood of our company. You play a huge role in our innovations as you identify, architect, and develop software for a wide range of systems, including enterprise-level AI/ML solutions and embedded/real-time systems. Each day, you use your technical skills in C and C++ to work on several ongoing projects, including Artisan-AI©, the Open Intelligent Additive Manufacturing System (Open-IAM), and the ThermaViz© imaging pyrometer. An avid learner, you quickly grasp the ins and outs of these projects and make yourself invaluable to their progress.

While programming, you are meticulous about keeping your code clean and choosing the correct tools for the job. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

  • B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Proficiency with GUI development
  • Proficiency with multi-threaded software development
  • Proficiency with client/server software development
  • Extensive knowledge about software development, design, and implementation
  • Knowledge about embedded/real-time systems as well as enterprise-level systems
  • Authorization to work in the U.S
