Description:

The Scrum Master has a pivotal role in facilitating the agile development process and ensuring successful project delivery. As a servant leader, they encourage collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within the Scrum team. They act as a mentor to guide the team in adopting and applying Agile principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Remove impediments and obstacles to the team's progress, enabling them to achieve sprint goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the Scrum team on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and transparent status updates on Sprint/project progress.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) to monitor and improve team performance.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (Preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Advance Knowledge of Jira and Confluence or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Knowledge of Reporting tools like power BI or easyBI.

This is 6-month contract; however, it could be extended.

We are a hybrid team (2 days remote, 3 days in office). The role can be located in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL or Nashville, TN.
