Position Overview:

This role involves managing financial records, supporting treasury functions, and other financial activities to foster the growth of a leading health organization, reporting to the Head of Accounting and the Finance Director.


The position requires a finance professional with sound business judgment and preferably knowledge of the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of performance, experience in fast-paced teams, and the ability to support multiple entities.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  • Performing general accounting and treasury duties.
  • Maintaining the general ledger and preparing month-end accruals with appropriate documentation and accuracy.
  • Tracking, booking, reporting, and reconciling rent expenses.
  • Supporting the booking of personnel costs and employee benefits.
  • Executing intercompany transfers, payroll funding, and overseas vendor payments.
  • Assisting in accounts receivable close-related processes.
  • Reconciling cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations, other regulatory frameworks, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Keeping abreast of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly income statements and balance sheets.
  • Performing other analytical duties as assigned, including ad hoc accounting projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and managing multiple entities and bank accounts.
  • Preferred experience with Navision and Concur.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing information for management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record as a collaborative partner driving for results.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and accounting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
