Compensation:

$14 - $16 Hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food consistently
  • Maintain speed, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of kitchen, prep areas, dish areas, and equipment
  • Follow recipes and correctly use kitchen equipment
  • Adapt to various events and seasonal menu changes
  • Uphold Health Department cleanliness and safety standards
  • Follow storage and waste control standards for quality food service
  • Cook food orders according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Keep workstations, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary
  • Set up cooking stations with necessary preparation items for shifts
  • Interact professionally with visitors, vendors, and colleagues
  • Support a teamwork-focused work environment
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of cooking experience, although it is not mandatory.
  • While not required, having previous experience in fine-dining preparation would be advantageous.
  • It is essential for candidates to possess strong communication skills and maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Proficiency in effectively operating kitchen equipment is a necessary skill for this position.
  • Candidates are expected to be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED certification is a must.
  • Prior experience in food service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines for kitchen equipment and food storage is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for interactions with customers and coworkers.
