Location: Rapid City, SD

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? Do you have a creative side that you'd like to use to help design and develop innovative projects? Join the YMCA as a Teen Center Program Aide and be part of an amazing team that is focused on strengthening our community. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating and designing YMCA apparel, managing orders, and teaching youth essential career and job skills. You will also provide a safe and fun environment, planning age-appropriate activities that foster social and emotional growth.

As a Teen Center Program Aide, you will design apparel efficiently to ensure timely delivery, develop engaging curriculum focused on safety and personal growth, and maintain a well-organized and safe environment. You will build positive relationships with youth and their families, ensuring every interaction contributes to the YMCA's membership goals. Your role will involve complying with all safety policies, completing incident reports accurately, and embodying the YMCA's values in all your actions.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma or those actively pursuing it, with experience working with children and/or teenagers. You must be at least 18 years old, passionate about the YMCA mission, and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and inspire others. A valid driver's license is required, and experience in graphic design, photography, and videography is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
