Job Title: MRI Technician

Shift: Days | 07:00 - 15:00 | Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Experience/Certification/Education Requirements:

  • NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License
  • R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT)
  • NYS Injection/IV Certification (Consideration given to strong candidates willing to take the IV placement course, with physician skills sign-off arranged on-site)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience, 2 years preferred

Location: Staten Island, NY 10305

Job Description: This position is located in a 700-bed facility (across two campuses) that is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a teaching facility. The MRI Technician will work in a busy department performing a variety of exams, including neuro and 3T prostate exams. The facility uses GE 3 Tesla and GE 1.5 Tesla MRI machines.
