As a MR Fusion Biopsy Technician at United Medical Systems, you will play a crucial role in the innovative field of prostate cancer detection. This full-time position requires skilled professionals in medical imaging, particularly those with expertise in MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with Urology clinics to verify upcoming schedules.
2. Secure MRI mappings from Radiology departments, utilizing cloud technology for remote access.
3. Travel to various healthcare facilities to deliver essential equipment prior to procedures.
4. Provide technical and clinical assistance to Urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy operations.
5. Manage logistical and clinical preparations for your assigned route.
Travel Requirements:
Some overnight travel may be necessary to accommodate specific facilities.
Job Details:
This role does not involve performing MRI scans; however, it includes assisting Urologists in integrating MRI mappings with live ultrasound images and navigating through a 3D environment using the fusion device.
