The financial analyst prepares, compiles, analyzes, interprets, and reports financial data of the clinical operations. Provides financial analysis and long-term projections, ratios, graphs, and profitability reviews. This is a fully remote role.


Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Develop financial models to assess the impact of various operational strategies and initiatives on profitability
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Monitor and track budget performance, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights from financial and operational data
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify key drivers of financial performance and predict future trends
  • Collaborate with data scientists and other analysts to implement predictive and prescriptive analytics models
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into financial and operational metrics
  • Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders, ensuring data is presented in a clear and actionable format
  • Regularly update and maintain dashboards to reflect current data and metrics

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or advanced analytics certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financial management, including revenue cycle and cost management
