Role Overview:

As a Solar Energy Closer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-home consultative-style sales appointments with residential homeowners. These leads represent individuals seeking alternatives to their current power bills and are likely unfamiliar with trustworthy guidance on transitioning to clean energy. Given the evolving solar landscape in California, successful candidates will excel as experts in solar, whole home efficiency, and battery backup systems. You'll need to be a skilled marketer as well as a salesperson, willing to go the extra mile to engage even cold contacts at their doorstep.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We're seeking individuals who can:

  • Engage in daily door-to-door interactions and create qualified sales consultations.
  • Conduct sales consultations with homeowners, educating them on the benefits of solar and backup battery solutions.
  • Actively participate in team training sessions and meetings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly performance targets.


Role Requirements:

  • Active State HIS (Home Improvement Sales) License required. Candidates without license will be referred to the Appointment Setter candidate pool.
  • Minimum 1 year of previous Solar Sales Experience required.
  • Flexible full-time availability (up to 40 hours weekly).
  • Noteworthy communication and interpersonal abilities, with bilingual proficiency as a plus.
  • Completion of applicable Sales and Technician Training required.
  • Consistent performance in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation essential.
