This position necessitates exceptional project management, communication, and organizational abilities to guarantee effective project delivery and customer satisfaction, with close collaboration with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in R&D, pilot, demonstration, and new product projects, including hands-on involvement in the R&D facility and direct interaction with the engineering team.
  • Uphold personal safety and share the responsibility for the safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors at project sites, requiring a solid understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Comprehend and adhere to company policies and procedures as they are updated.
  • Manage multiple projects from purchase order to commissioning, taking full ownership of all project aspects.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers, ensuring a superior customer experience and offering product and system expertise.
  • Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of photovoltaic solar tracking systems and related tools.
  • Ensure a robust customer care experience and effectively communicate solutions for customer inquiries.
  • Oversee the safety and daily operations of assigned technical advisors and commissioning teams.
  • Coordinate the procurement of tools for projects, ensuring their availability and proper training.
  • Manage project financials, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and cost control.
  • Offer field support for installations and quality assurance, addressing quality issues through established reporting processes.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of all necessary products from purchase order to delivery, collaborating with design engineering, supply chain, logistics, and customers.
  • Establish, measure, and report on key performance indicators for customer care to enhance performance and behavior.
  • Play a vital role in cross-functional product teams, providing insights based on systems integration expertise and customer feedback.
  • Support product development, sales, and marketing initiatives as required.
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer, advocating for their needs within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, utilizing Gantt charts and other project management tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, proactively seeking assistance when needed and persistently pursuing solutions.
  • Experience in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Skilled in addressing customer support and operations and maintenance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including thorough meeting documentation and timely follow-up.
  • Strong organizational skills, proficient in using document management systems for product documentation and action item tracking.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • A passion for solar energy or renewable technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic technology and its applications.
  • Hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking systems is advantageous.
  • Project management experience in energy, construction, mining, or oil and gas sectors is preferred.
