We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst Consultant to collaborate with this team's finance org on a project basis. The organization is part of a financial services firm, focusing on investment management and advisory services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing financial data, creating forecasts, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize the client's financial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes and drive business growth.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop accurate financial forecasts and assist in budget planning to ensure financial stability.

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks and opportunities, providing insights to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance metrics, identify trends, and present findings to key stakeholders.

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to aid in scenario planning and strategic decision-making.

  • Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

  • Advisory Support: Collaborate with the client's finance team to offer strategic financial advice and support on key initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, or a related role within the financial services industry.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and market trends.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.

  • Expertise in financial software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Project-based consulting role, contract-based, on an 'as needed' basis.

  • Duration: Initial project with the potential for further collaboration based on performance and client needs.
