Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our prestigious culinary team. This role is pivotal in ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional kitchen management and collaboration with other departments. The Executive Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards for purchasing and receiving items, creating innovative recipes, and overseeing food service functions. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a talented culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Management: Effectively run the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Purchasing and Receiving: Maintain control of the standards for purchasing and receiving items in collaboration with the storeroom manager and food and beverage controller.
- Recipe Development: Create recipes and production methods, and compile new banquet menus.
- Quality Control: Inspect all food service functions during service to ensure that the correct standards are maintained.
- Market Trends: Keep up-to-date with local and international market trends and competitors food production/offering.
- Staff Development: Lead and develop the careers of the culinary staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Proven success in managing and motivating others while acting as a role model.
- Demonstrated ability to control costs associated with running a profitable business, such as food, labor, and beverage costs.
- Trust, honesty, integrity, and a passion for customer satisfaction.
