Your day as a Laborer

As a new Laborer at LK Transport LLC in Kansas City, MO, you can expect a dynamic work environment focused on dock tasks and the assembly and installation of home delivery products. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime for special products or projects. Each day, you'll have the opportunity to work hands-on with a supportive team, contributing to the successful completion of various installation tasks. From unpacking products to assembling and setting up deliveries, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction with our services.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ride on two-man+ deliveries with assembly and installation of home delivery products according to specifications.
  • Perform dock work including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Use provided straps, dollies, tools, and hardware to complete home delivery tasks efficiently.
  • Handle products with care ensuring they are delivered in excellent condition.
  • Work in various temperature conditions both indoors and outdoors.
  • Lift and carry heavy items ranging from 50-100 lbs.
  • Operate a forklift (preferred but not required; training can be provided).
  • Be willing to work overtime when necessary for special products or projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with the assembly and installation of home delivery products.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50-100 lbs).
  • Willingness to work in different temperature conditions.
