Job Summary

The Construction Laborer will perform a variety of tasks, including basic labor, demolition, and carpentry, to support the construction phase of our projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic labor tasks, including demolition and carpentry, as directed by the onsite lead or field management.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe construction site, free from debris and hazards.
  • Load and unload construction materials to support job site progress.
  • Operate light industrial equipment, as directed, to complete larger labor tasks.
  • Drive to local hardware stores to obtain materials or equipment necessary for job site tasks, as directed by onsite field management.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations to guarantee a safe working environment.
  • Work 8-hour shifts, with occasional overtime and night/weekend work, to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • OHSA-10 certification required within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains composure and professionalism in challenging situations and effectively resolves conflicts.
  • Demonstrates innovative problem-solving skills and considers all facts to resolve issues.
  • Embraces technology and uses it to improve the experience of Centric Construction Group LLC associates.
  • Responsible and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
