Summary
The Salesperson is responsible for identifying and cultivating sales opportunities, developing relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. This position is semi-remote but may eventually shift to be a fully onsite position.
Job Duties
- Identify and cultivate sales opportunities for aircraft parts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including airlines, maintenance facilities, aircraft operators.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and execute shipping logistics, including packaging, labeling, and arranging transportation for timely delivery of orders.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory management and meet customer demands.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years experience in aircraft parts sales and shipping
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (such as ILS) and ERP systems (such as Pentagon) preferred
- Strong computer skills - including logging in and managing accounts on multiple sites (ex: eBay, ILS), posting items online for sales, generating shipping documents, searching online for information on parts and pricing, using email software, etc.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in semi-remote setting
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
- Self-motivated with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent required
